The poetic pairing of Shiraz and Charcuterie has long been celebrated, and notably so at Anthonij Rupert Estate in Franschhoek, which also hosts the annual Shiraz & Charcuterie Festival in May each year.
Charcuterie’s salty, aromatic flavours and sweet, rich fattiness are naturally complemented by the typically bright acidity, bold fruitiness and spiciness of outstanding Shiraz wines – a partnership which this tasting experience aims to highlight.
No children under the age of 18 will be allowed to take part in the tasting.

We had a wonderful time as always. Second time we have done the Shiraz tasting, and again it was fantastic. On a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon, the Shiraz tasting was superb. Well presented by the waitress and fabulous pairing. Wines are of a superb quality and wonderful to have so much history around them. Loved the setting overlooking the bottling plant. Will definitely be back! - Claire
